MICHIGAN SMALL BUSINESS & TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT CENTERS

 

Some of these centers work together with the Biz Resource Centers. If a Biz Resource Center phone number is posted, the center provides both services.

 

Provide low-or no-cost business planning services through:

  1. Counseling
    2. One-on-one meetings with experienced business consultants
    • Writing business plans
    • Establishing strategies for growth and survival
    • Creating practical marketing approaches
    • Dealing with unexpected challenges
    • Generating realistic financial goals.


Each region specializes in the types of businesses found in their local communities.

    • Provide individual seminars including how to get started, determining legal structure, accessing financing, effective selling, and e-commerce,

  2. Research
    • Provide information – including the size and characteristics of industries, the marketplace, competition, foreign trade, and customer demographics.
